I would like to showcase a few things that I think you might enjoy.
1) Moto Guzzi V7 Classic

Though not a strong follower of Italian motorcycles - always connected better with the proletariat Honda marquee - I nonetheless am not blind to awesomeness wherever it be found. This motorcycle, along with a couple of Triumph's models (see: Bonneville, Thruxton, and Scrambler), fills what I feel is a major void in the market for a clean, classic, 1970's-styled standard motorcycle. As a bonus, it is a reasonably sized 750cc's - getting away from that American mindset that bigger must = better. Now I realize that Harley Davidson also builds retro bikes but I left them out of the list because, frankly, that's all they have been doing, and I for one am tired of looking at them. Besides, if a company was going to power a bike with an air cooled v-twin, what is the smarter way of doing it? Hiding one of the cylinders behind the other, so it never gets as much air as the front? Or, mount the engine transversely (sideways) so both cylinders receive an equal, unobstructed airflow, like Guzzi does? I think that this is hands down the prettiest motorcycle to be sold in many many years (it should be in showrooms soon).
2) Starwars: The Clone Wars DVD.

This movie is animated and I was worried that it was going to be another insult to the original trilogy. Now I admit, I'm not enough of an expert to comment on how true it stays to the spirit of the original films, but I can say that it is way more enjoyable than Episodes 1-3. The movie and music are really cool and the kids LOVED it. Every time they get to the chapter called "Vertical Assault" I have to stop what I'm doing (never very much) and crank the sound up to watch it with them. By the way, the reason that we rented the movie is because we have been playing Lego: Starwars on Nintendo. That is a great game!
3) Triscuit Rosemary and Olive Oil crackers with old/sharp cheddar cheese.

Not too much to say more on this subject. The perfect cheese and cracker combination - proof that not everything gets worse... some new stuff is better. My partner at work tipped me off to these crackers and I couldn't even guess how many boxes we've gone through since then. It won't be as good with mild or medium cheddar - but that's obvious, nothing is.
Please enjoy responsibly.

That is one beautiful motorcycle! Simple to the point of elegance if I may say so. The calm flat seat, the old time high profile tires, the plain chrome wheels with real spokes, the absense of a bug collecting radiator or any unnecessary bits of plastic and seriously old school dual rear shocks. Clean, classy and (yeah I need to use that word one more time) elegant. Uncluttered beauty, like a pretty woman with no tattoos.
It'll never happen for me but it would indeed be awesome to get one someday....
Nice Chad. But might I suggest an even yummier snack....we prefer to buy Triscuit THIN CRISPS (the triangular ones) and then cut up bits of genoa salami and a little slice of SWISS cheese. Now that's a serious yummy snack. Try it sometime, and you'll never go back to your stinky sharp chedder! he he.
Lorin, great points. Have you ever considered writing for a motorcycle magazine? Good eye picking up on the dual rear shocks and real spokes... two things that every motorcycle used to have but today are, unfortunately, fairly rare.
Jewel,
I have always been open minded. If you make me up a plate of your cracker snacks I promise I will give them a shot.
