Our family went to Cirque du Soleil Kooza to celebrate and it was a mind blowing experience. The acts were fantastic but the live music and singing that accompanied them really added to the excitement. Here are clips of the two acts that we voted as our favorites:

Sara has enjoyed having the 10/10/10 day as well as she is 10 today! I was not as good of a mother as Heather. She got her usual cinnamon toast for breakfast and we are having pumpkin pie for her cake as we have celebrated her birthday a few times this week with friends and her class. Heather will have to help me become a better mother and send me her ideas so i can have fun with my kids! How did you get a firecracker? If i had one I would set it off tonight just for her!
Don't worry Twyla, Heather doesn't actually come up with the ideas... she just makes them happen.
I found the firecrackers in a shop in the Crowsnest Pass after the father and son's camp and knew that we would find a use for them. That wasin Alberta so I don't know why they aren't sold locally if they can be sold there. Unfortunately this is our last one, but we will be stocking up again.
Luckily our neighbors are pretty understanding.
I spent the whole day writing 10/10 on boxes but never clued into the fact that it was 10/10/10. Thanks for reminding me.
