Today was a very special day. Not only did Mason have his birthday and turn eight, but he was also baptized! I am so proud of him for making this important decision in his life. He had been counting down the days for probably a month, and finally he could celebrate!
We are so blessed to have such a great family. Mason's cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents traveled all the way up to celebrate his special day with him. As we sat and listened to the speakers, you could feel a special spirit of love in the room.
And we are proud of him for being such a good boy. A couple of days previous Chad was giving him a hard time by telling him that he wasn't sure if we were going to be able to get him any presents for his birthday. To that he replied, "that's OK, you and mommy are my presents." How could you not love such a sweet little sweetheart?

Oh mason is so sweet and we were so proud of him!!!! Thanks for the awesome pizza and cake. In the rush of things we never even sang Happy Birthday to him! We'll do that when we see you guys next;)
