One of the kids brought home a case of chicken pox from school last week. Ella is OK because she has had them already, but we are expecting Tyson and Deacon to develop them soon. Mason has a full-blown case and even has them inside his mouth and throat. Heather has been giving him baking soda baths and calamine lotion and he has been getting a lot of ginger ale (flat) and popsicles. Along with those treatments, he has had a vacation from school and is getting much more video game time than we would normally allow.
If it wasn't for these chickenpox, this could have been the best week of his life

AWWW poor guy! I feel for him. the video games wont hurt him. my kids have been playing a lot of that and watching TV with the weather being so cold. I don't want to go anywhere! Tell him I hope he starts to feel better soon.
OH MY GOODNESS! Mason that picture is so sad! We love you buddy and I hope that you get all of the pop and popsicles that you want! You deserve them!

Oh Mason buddy, I just about wanted to cry for you!! I've never heard of it in your mouth or throat? Seriously....you deserve a heck of a lot more than popsicles! Maybe Mya can make something for you that will cheer you up!!! I hope your daddy is buying you a NEW game! (and I hope he's reading my comment to you!!!)
Anyway, We love you and we'll pray that you heal up real fast! We are REALLY going to miss you this weekend!!!!
