The other night, we enjoyed the chance to climb out onto the roof and enjoy a pop while we watched the town together. The only problem with this tradition is trying to limit the number of times we walk on the shingles. We have settled on an agreement with the kids; once a month, and any time that the power goes out at night (to watch the stars).
The kids are all hoping for a power outage soon.

That's so great! Note to self *Next house we buy, we need to be able to get up on the roof, WITH the kids.

Super fun tradition. I'm thinking that's how we should spend our next reunion!! Pull the sleeping bags up and all!!!
Seriously though, I could handle a roof like yours. Kendall had me up on our roof repairing shingles a month or so ago and I seriously do not remember EVER being so scared for my life.
PS. I'm coming up there this Thursday and I have that CD for Heather so I'll drop it off sometime that day!!! Perhaps you could have a root beer waiting for me????
