Last night as I crawled into bed after work, Heather woke up and told me the news that Kendall and John had both gotten the jobs they applied for in Cardston. If that wasn't enough news, she also told me that Jewel was expecting! (Jewel probably tried to call me at work, but I must have been tied up on something). I can't even say how excited we are at these blessings, things really couldn't have worked out better. It puts a little pressure on us and the Paynes though, to see if we are going to make the move closer to family.
After talking to Jewel and Tanis on the phone today, I took the boys outside to play. Who do you think I saw, sitting on her nest as though she had never left?
After almost four days of checking an empty nest, I was sure that our Robin had flown the coup. Today though, she sat there like a harbinger of good news; the message:
"Everything is going to work out".
(or possibly "Life begins anew", or possibly just "You have a nice deck, keep the bird food coming").

Uh...you do have a nice deck. Glad the bird is back.
PS: Do you think it will follow you when you move down south? COme on...every bodies doing it!
Yes Chad, I did try several times to contact you at work. Just got the word that you were "busy" eating donuts etc. So, guess this means you have to start being extra nice to me so I can leave Okotoks with happy memories of living so close to my big brother. You're off to a good start with your offer for a "celebratory dinner" at your place. Can't wait. But seriously, we do have lots to be thankful for, beginning with our time here for the last couple years! Good times. But Tanis is right...time to look into that transfer a little sooner than later! Nice blog today!!!
Chad and Heather
