It is a beautiful Sunday afternoon and we have just noticed the buds on the trees, and a birds' nest under our deck. The nest was built sometime in the last two days but I haven't seen any birds at it yet. I am a little worried that it was built when we were away from the house and the birds thought our yard seemed so quiet and peaceful - and now that we're back, they've had second thoughts...
I hope that's not it.
I spread some of Charlie's bird food nearby to try and make the location seem more appealing. Hopefully our little guests will decide that good food is worth the hectic environment. It's always worked for me...

Wow, that's so cool. You'll have to keep us informed if any cute little eggs appear in it. Quite the colorful little nest though!!!
Ya, maybe Crystal can tell from looking at it, what kind of bird made it... sure has a snazzy sence of decorating...
Unfortunately, I still haven't spotted a bird at the nest yet.
