Only a Few Hours Left

Despite all of our planning, yesterday was a busy day with last minute preparations. One of the last things on our list was to give Orco a bath and clip his nails before we dropped him off at our friends house. We are so glad that he has healed up good as new, but it will still be tough to be away from him for a month.

Yesterday I treated all of our clothes with permethrin, further evidence of my mosquito phobia and we packed everything into our self-imposed limit of one backpack per person.

We gathered up some last-minute items and then made sure that the lights were on a timer and the water heater was turned down. Today was a nice peaceful Sunday, and we still have supper with the sister missionaries to look forward to before our ride to the airport gets here.
