The Band Perry on Pi Day

These two things don't really have anything in common except for the fact that this afternoon Heather has been making pizza pies and chocolate pie to commemorate today's date, and all the while she has had this song playing on repeat.

Also, I think this would be a good song to play at a funeral, and pie would be a good dessert to serve at a funeral. Mostly though, we just wanted to share these two things in case you didn't already know about them (plus it's a day off, which explains why I have posted three times in two days).

Hmmmm that sounds like a very yummy way to celebrate Pi day. John's students got Pie in class yesterday- but our own kids were not so lucky;) I knew Heather would be doing something special for you guys!!!

As for the song? Perhaps I've never really given it a fair shot, considering the title and all. You know me.

We are thinking of Tyson right now! John said that his mom used to fill a nylon sock with oatmeal (tie the end up) and throw it in a bath with them. After a few minutes the bath would be very soothing. Hopefully he gets better REAL quick! We love ya Tys!!!

Heather remembered uncle John's tradition and told the kids about it while we were having our pie.

Haha I should have realized that this song might not have been your favorite subject.

And thanks for the tip and your concern about Tyson. Last night was a difficult one for him but it looks like he's doing better today.

But... Heather has found a few spots on Deacon now!

Ohh no!!!! (Directed to your previous post about Tys and Chicken pox not about pi day). Poor Tyson, and now poor Deacon too...and Poor Heather. She is seriously superwomen. How she manages to be awesome and bake pies and pizzas for her family whilst nursing her poxity little ones is amazing. When my kids are sick the whole world shuts down for a while. Hang in there everyone...I hope this is over soon. We sure love you.
Crystal.
